I chose to create a webquest from scratch to explore the learning possibilities using technology for teacher inquiry oriented learning. My creation of this webquest not only gave me an understanding of how to use the tool, but also of the teaching pedagogies involved in using webquests. Webquests are a great way to direct students to learn using the internet without having them searching through hundreds of sights. They can be self-paced and all of the expectations are laid out for the students to ensure the opportunity for success.
